Britishers ruled India around 200 years. And now some Indian says that British rule was not that bad for India, they give the logic that Britishers gave us Railway, English Education etc. and sometimes we also believe in their logics without knowing the facts.

When the British empire was from Canada to Australia India became the central Hub for the British community and a Transport system was more beneficiary for them, and we Indians were the one who carried out all the expenditure of Railway, ‘our money their profit’ form 1854-1947, more than 14,000 trains were imported from U.K to India, Railway majorly employed Britishers from ticket collector to high level officers. They make sure that all the earnings should go to the British person. And the time passed and Britishers got richer and Indians got Poorer.

Dadabhai Naoroji started researching on this loot, and he came to an starling fact that from 1835 to 1872 in less than 40 years of period of time 13 million pounds of goods British imported from Indians and they were not paid a single rupee for this. Which called Drain Theory, to ensure this level of drain the British needed a network, and this network was the Railway.

Which is more than 17 time of the whole Britain’s GDP.
Conclusion:
Today it is impossible for Britain to return the money back to India. So, should we make Britain our enemy? No! History is neither for excuses nor for revenge History is just a reminder, that how before 70 years British left us in among worlds poorest Country and today, India is the 5th largest economy in the world ‘much ahead of Britain’ the East Indian Company that looted India for almost a century is today owned by an Indian.
